Delighted to welcome Frankie McCarthy to the Journeys by Design team.
Previously of Electric Sky Productions and ALT-MU Magazine, where she was, among many other things, production coordinator, Frankie is that rare and wonderful combination of creative and logician, by which I don’t mean to insult either the artist or scientist in you, but rather to highlight the fact we have been joined by an enormously capable, interesting and interested individual.
A fine art graduate, graphic designer, illustrator and painter, Frankie’s interview for the job of office administrator was largely based on the question of how she would draw up the plans for, organise and ensure the smooth running of JbD’s imminent move into larger offices. A logistical nightmare, this is the kind job the best of us lose sleep over, Frankie’s proposal was frankly brilliant. So good, in fact, we’ve adopted it, with Frankie’s permission, as the plan for the big move.
So, Frankie. Welcome – and thank you for choosing us. I’m honoured that you’ve joined us, and look forward to everything the future brings.
